Exceptional Optics and Stable Performance
This lens incorporates a series of specialized optics, including two molded glass aspherical elements, one hybrid aspherical element, and two LD (Low Dispersion) elements. These work together to produce highly corrected imagery with impressive sharpness, clarity, and color accuracy, minimizing distortion, spherical aberrations, and chromatic aberrations. Individual elements also feature Tamron’s BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) coating, which effectively suppresses flare and ghosting for greater contrast, even when shooting in backlit or harsh lighting.
